This tier is for you if you are a parent of a child aged 8 to 11 who is preparing for their 11+ exams. It is only for you if you are ready and willing to be self-reflective and honest with yourself!
With a bank of resources to draw on, regular group coaching calls with me, and a community of other parents, you will learn how to manage your own anxieties so you can become a strong source of support for your child's success in their 11+ exams.
Coming soon, this tier will get parent and child working together to learn how to engage in conversations about topics and subjects which are outside of your child's zone of relevance.
By using the materials, workshops and regular group coaching from this tier, and with your support along the way, your child will feel confident that they will be able to answer any question which may be asked in a calm, articulate manner.
I am an experienced primary school teacher, and over the past 7 years I have worked across state, SEND and independent sectors. I am also a life coach for young people aged 7 to 18 and am deeply passionate about supporting young people to become independent and confident from an early age to give them a great foundation for a happy, successful future, as well as resilience for when life throws them a curveball!
As a teacher, I have noticed that children are getting increasingly stressed out, unhappy and anxious at much younger ages. I have had children as young as 8 coming to me, crying and begging me to stay in at break so they can complete their tutoring homework.
Wondering why it was so important to them, I decided to do a little first-hand qualitative research, and found that many of these children were feeling the pressure of an incredibly full timetable. Homework, clubs, tutoring and tutoring homework takes up their whole lives and they are burning out. They have no time to unwind and just be children.
Something which kept coming up was 11+ prep, and the pressure that they feel - many children are placing so much importance on the outcome of their 11+ exams that they feel their value as a person is linked to it, and it's having a negative impact on their mental health and wellbeing.
"So stressed, I cried a lot."
"If you pass it you'll feel better but if you don't you'll feel like you're nothing."
"Now I'm doing harder tests I've cried a lot because I'm not getting the results I wanted."
"It's taken over my life in a bad and stressful way because the tutoring sessions are stressful."

Less fighting and bickering
Improved self-esteem
Huge leaps in confidence
Children who are more willing to give it a go
Children who kept failing in their exams finally succeeding as a result of all of the above!
Having seen this work in a classroom setting again and again, I realised that I could help more children if I took the mindfulness training online - my reach would be so much wider. I wanted to tailor this to children sitting the 11+ exams as this is an area where children often need additional emotional and mental support to allow them to succeed.
That is how the 11+ Mindfulness Membership was born!
The plan for 8-11 year olds!
The plan for parents!
